Using Herman on a Mac or Linux

Herman can work on a mac using VMWare. This is not the most lightweight solution but it works. You can get VMWare (virtualization software) for free from their website: VMWare

You will only need the server. After you get it, you can install windows XP, the .Net Framework 1.1 and of course the Herman trainer software. Please keep in mind you will need to add USB support to the virtual windows environment to be able to access the Herman trainer.

Herman can also work on a linux laptop, Use windows emulation from cross-over-linux. The trick is to install IE 5.0 which is needed for the .Net framework which Herman uses.
