HERMAN FOOTBALL

The Herman Digital Training System measures performance for quarterbacks, blockers, tacklers, and kickers. By attaching one or more sensors to a target, players can quickly see their strengths and weaknesses and coaches can quickly evaluate talent.

Herman rewards accuracy and velocity of passes. This is important for medium and long passes. By attaching a sensor to a target, quarterbacks can determine how quickly they get the ball to the intended receiver and the accuracy of their pass.

For blockers and tacklers it's all about hitting the target pads whether on a single or multiple sled or hand held. Herman can measure the power of each hit as well as the reaction time of each player. Herman can measure single and multiple shots and create competition for the positions. And utilizing multiple sensors on a sled, coaches can determine who is and who is not getting it done during the surges.

Attaching a sensor on the back of a net gives kickers immediate feedback on the power of their kicks. The practice nets currently in place suddenly become interactive tools telling the kicker when they do well and when they don't. Herman rewards good technique.

Many of Herman's football uses will work best with the wireless kits that increase the range between the point of impact and Herman. Wireless kits will allow receivers to measure their catching skills with different pass velocities. These kits will permit coaches to monitor performance from great distances. And they will permit placement within equipment to monitor players for injuries and determine the power of live impacts.

These kits will be available and the widespread application of Herman Football will begin in the spring of 2006.
