The Herman Interactive Training System measures performance for quarterbacks, blockers, tacklers, and kickers. By attaching a wireless sensor to a target, players can quickly see their strengths and weaknesses and coaches can quickly evaluate talent.

Herman rewards accuracy and velocity of passes. This is important for medium and long passes. By attaching a wireless sensor to a target, quarterbacks can determine how quickly they get the ball to the intended receiver and the accuracy of their pass.

For blockers and tacklers it's all about hitting the target pads whether on a single or multiple sled or hand held. Herman can measure the power of each hit as well as the reaction time of each player. Herman can measure single and multiple shots and create competition for the positions. And by utilizing multiple sensors on a sled, coaches can determine who is and who is not getting it done during the surges.

Attaching a wireless or wired sensor on the back of a net gives kickers immediate feedback on the power of their kicks. The existing practice nets suddenly become interactive tools telling the kicker when they do well and when they don't. Herman rewards good technique.

Most of Herman's football uses work best with wireless sets that increase the range between the point of impact and the Herman Trainer. Wireless sensors allow receivers to measure their catching skills with different pass velocities. Wireless permits coaches to monitor performance from great distances. And the placement of wireless sensors within football equipment permits the monitoring of players in live situations for the power of the impacts they give or receive.  This is a terrific tool for assessing possible injuries as well as performance.
