HERMAN FEEDBACK
Seeing your power scores is fun because there's tangible evidence of your efforts. Completing your workout interval is fun because of the sense of accomplishment and the rapidity of improved cardio-vascular conditioning. But nothing is as fun as feedback. It's immediate. It's objective. And it pulls no punches. It provides satisfaction when things are going well, or motivation when it's time to step it up. It's like there's someone named Herman watching every strike you make. And it's like a real life physical fitness video game with the best score standing up against all challenges.
Feedback takes the boredom out of training. You decide whether you want to compete against your previous score or your best score for that technique. You decide whether to compete against others or yourself. The score you're competing against is at the bottom of the screen during your interval. You don't need to calculate or look up anything. Herman does it all for you, and gives the results immediately.
We have 15 levels of feedback - seven positive, seven negative, and one neutral. With the exception of the neutral and the extremes, the feedback progression is presented in both text and the approximate percentage change. These levels are determined by variance analysis in 5% increments.
